About Us

The Association for Climate Health started in 2019 as a result of the growing threat of climate change and disruption. We created this nonpartisan forum for sharing ideas and information across disciplines, with the hope of elevating the dialogue of this global issue and devising solutions.

At ACH we want people and organizations to come together and join the conversation about the facts of climate change and the actions we can take to fight back. Our current idea forums include our blog and resource centers, along with our Facebook and LinkedIn pages. We will be adding a quarterly journal and an annual convention with speakers, workshops, and awards for excellent work promoting the health of our climates.

Our founder, Nancy Boxer, graduated from Harvard University with bachelor's and master's degrees in economics and regional planning. She taught economics at Harvard College, served as a state regulator, worked for a major oil company and as an independent financial consultant before retraining in medicine and psychotherapy. A long-time hiker and environmentalist, her aim is to stabilize the earth's climate so we can create a more sustainable world for our children and our children's children.
